The Morning Starr is a daughter of the legendary sire The Minstril, father of Thee Desperado. She is also an Egyptian Prince granddaughter on her dam’s side, and carries rare blood in the female side of her pedigree as well. She, too, is of the strain of horses beloved of the biblical King Solomon.

Starr carries the wonderful personality of her father and has taken great care with raising her foals. This gentle mare is an exceptional mother.

In 1998, Starr produced Thee Epic, a bay stallion sired by Thee Desperado and now owned by Diane Lynn Kolesar.

In 1999, Starr gave birth to EA Indae Salib, a grey mare by Thee Infidel and now owned by BL Arabians.

Starr’s 2004 filly, LL S’hara Starr, is living up to her name as she claims ribbons at Class A shows and the 2007 Egyptian Event. A true “glamour girl” who loves to show off in the ring, she is proudly owned (and sometimes shown!) by Mary Ellen Beverly and William Mellin of Beverly Arabians.
